Don't Put Away Your Gardening Gloves Just Yet!

There are plenty of veggies you can sow in September.  Since our South Georgia climate isn't prone to early frost lettuce is a perfect choice.  Crops like arugula, spinich, and Swiss chard are ideal. They are fast growing so you will have tasty results in a few short weeks, and the more you pinch their leaves for your salads the more they grow! I opted to sow  my seeds in containers so I can bring them in if we get a cold spell in October.
