Getting Green With The Blue Hole Clean Up
When: Sunday August 23
Where: Blue Hole Springs near Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park
What You'll Need: Buckets to put the trash (glass) in
Everyone is welcome to join Barefoot Planet and help clean up the Blue Hole. There is ALOT of broken glass so please protect your feet accordingly.
If you are a diver we would love for you to bring your diving equipment and help us remove all the garbage from the bottom of the spring. If you need directions just send me a message located at the bottom of this page.
Kayak Clean Up
When: Sunday August 16
Where: Flint River - We are putting in at Radium Springs
What You'll Need:
* Kayak or Canoe or you can rent one from John at The Outpost
* bags to collect any trash you may find
* sunblock
* cooler filled with your own necessities
* a gentle spirit
Bring your friends and help clean up the Flint River. Everyone is welcome! This is often a weekly event for us so you can usually find us paddeling down the river, laughing with our friends, and doing our part to keep the Flint River blissfully flowing!
